Indiana’s law enforcements officials were recognized Friday afternoon at the George E. Hood Municipal building.
Many current and retired officers, as well as community partners turned out to show their support for the men and women that keep Indiana safe. District Attorney Robert Manzi hosted the event, and talked about why it’s so important to show support for local police.
Lieutenant Eric Slovinsky of the Indiana Borough Police said it’s humbling to be shown so much appreciation.
Sheriff Bob Fyock said that while it’s always nice to be recognized, it’s all about doing the job they swore to do.
Manzi also thanked five community partners for their ongoing support, including InFirst Bank, Marion Center Bank, IRMC, Colonial Motors, and Delany Honda.
