A suspect in a stabbing in White Township last October is due in court today for a preliminary hearing.
State police have charged 23-year-old Joel Anthonio Hyderkhan with two counts of aggravated assault and single counts of simple assault, harassment and possession of a weapon for the reported attack on Alexander Guiterrez at his apartment on Byron Court. The victim told police that he had ordered Hyderkhan out of the apartment and the two were involved in an argument outside. When Guiterrez went around the back of the apartment complex, Hyderkahn was found waiting for him and during the physical altercation, Guiterrez was reportedly stabbed.
Also due in court for a preliminary hearing today are 22-year-old Artis Murphy-Butler of Philadelphia and 25-year-old Quadir Neal of Johnstown. The two are charged with simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct for a fight at 1:34 in the morning on August 23rd in the 500 block of Philadelphia Street.
All three hearings will be before District Judge Tony Sottile
