The former president and CEO of Altoona based Sheetz convenience stores and gas stations has died.
Steve Sheetz was just twelve-years-old in 1952 when his brother founded Sheetz Kwik Shopper. Steve went on to become the president and CEO of the company, with the company now having more than 800 locations.
Steve Sheetz died on Sunday at the age of 77 from respiratory complications after being hospitalized with pneumonia.
