UPDATE: Commodore fire officials say that the fire last night was at Buddy’s Auto Body on Vanderbuilt Street. Smoke was seen coming from the roof by the caller and those first on the scene. Crews went in and found the fire was mostly in the ceiling. Crews worked both inside and outside, as the fire burned through several layers of roofing and insulation. No injuries were reported, but the building is likely a total loss. The cause is currently under investigation by the State Police Fire Marshal.
