At a special meeting this morning, the Center Township Supervisors formally approved the 2026 budget.
The budget holds the line on taxes at 1.3 mills, with the budget balancing at $1,165,885. Supervisors Chairman Matt Housholder said that they hope to do about as much road work as they did in 2025, and maybe some more if things work out right.
The supervisors also approved a resolution to support the America 250 PA celebration and announced that they are looking for a new borough secretary, as Sarah Smith has announced her resignation. Anyone interested in taking that position can apply at the township office.
