Pennsylvania’s Agriculture Secretary and the State Veterinarian have cleared Santa Claus and his nine reindeer for travel tonight through Pennsylvania.
The reindeer have received a clean bill of health from Dr. Sarah Coburn, Alaska’s State Veterinarian to fly into Pennsylvania and make his deliveries tonight. The certificates are required as an assurance that contagious diseases are not carried into Pennsylvania.
The announcement was made at an event at HersheyPark on Tuesday.
