The Westmoreland County Airshow is not happening in 2026.
The airport authority on Friday announced that the popular two-day event will not be held next year — largely due to the lack of ability of a jet team to appear. In recent years, the Blue Angels and Thunderbirds have drawn big crowds to the show.
The airport authority says the Westmoreland County Airshow will return in 2027.
