A Winter Storm Warning is in effect for areas along and south of I-70 for this afternoon into Sunday with the heaviest snow expected (along with the highest chance of seeing >6″). Totals in the warning are most likely to be 6″ to 8″, through up to a localized 12″ is possible in high terrain or banding. Lower totals are forecast elsewhere, but could change depending on banding or storm track. For those locations, a Winter Weather Advisory is in effect.
