The Steelers have a big problem at left tackle. They were down to fourth-stringer Dylan Cook by the time Sunday’s game at Baltimore ended, and they don’t yet know the status of Andrus Peat, the two-time Pro Bowl tackle they plugged in for Calvin Anderson two games ago. Anderson was subbing for Broderick Jones, and now both of them are on injured reserve, with Anderson likely out for the year.
Yesterday, the Steelers signed Cook to the 53-man roster, moving him from the practice squad. They then signed journeyman David Sharpe, a 6-6, 343-pounder who’s been with the Raiders, Texans, Commanders, Ravens, Panthers, Jets, and this year with Chargers’ practice squad. He’s played 46 games in his NFL career.

NFL Week 15 kicks off tonight with Atlanta visiting Tampa Bay.
Colts coach Shane Steichen says 44-year-old Phillip Rivers could start this Sunday against Seattle. Rivers last played in the 2020 season and “un-retired” to sign with the Colts’ practice squad on Tuesday. He put in his first practice yesterday.
