The Salvation Army Red Kettle Campaign continues in Indiana County, with the campaign over half-way to its goal with about two weeks to go in the campaign.
Salvation Army Envoy Christie Ooten said that the regular and mini kettles that have been placed in the community and so far, over $55,000 has been collected toward their goal of $85,000. She said they are about $10,000 off pace, but the campaign time period was shortened due to the calendar.
Envoy Glenn Ooten said that the money from the Red Kettle campaign goes directly into the programs the Salvation Army provides.
Those who donate this Saturday will be a kettle match day, with all donations to the red kettle campaign to be matched to a certain amount.
