Indiana Borough Police have announced the arrest of a second individual in connection with an incident last month.
Officers were called out just after midnight on November 6th to the 100 block of Wherle Way for a report of two people going through backyards and trying to break into parked cars. Police at the time said 19-year-old William Zahorchak of Lucernemines and an unknown person fled when officers arrived, but Zahorchak was eventually apprehended and found with a loaded gun, some pieces of identification and some of the stolen items. On Tuesday, police announced that the other individual, 19-year-old Colin Daugherty of Homer City was the other person involved in the incident. He is now charged with loitering and prowling at night and evading arrest or detention on foot.
Charges against Daugherty were filed with District Judge Anthony Sottile’s office.
