Kenneth James Widemire, 90, of North Huntingdon, passed away Sunday, Dec,7, 2025, in Monroeville, leaving behind his loving wife of 34 years, Barbara “Barbie” A. (McGuire) Widemire, whom he affectionately called “Sweetie”.
Born Dec. 29, 1934, he was the son of the late Edward Widemire and Evelyn (Shankel) Rearick.
Ken proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corp. He retired from Westinghouse and was a member of the local Shriners and the 32nd Degree Masons.
He is survived by his wife Barbie, of North Huntingdon; a son, James McGregor and wife Debbie, of Iva, SC; a daughter, Valerie Tirpak and husband John, Jr., of North Huntingdon; grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Karen Bardin; and four siblings: Eddie, Dean, Irene and Julia.
Friends and family will be received from 12 p.m. until the time of the Masonic Service at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2025, at Robinson-Lytle-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 36 N 7th Street, Indiana, PA 15701. Internment will be in Uniontown Cemetery, Cherry Tree, PA.
Ken will always be in the hearts of those who loved him.
