James Winfield Collesar, 92 of Indiana, passed away, Friday, December 5, 2025 at Indiana Regional Medical Center. Born in Clymer, May 13, 1933, James was a son of the late Joseph and Olive (Weston) Collesar. He shared 64 years of marriage with his devoted wife, Nancy (Pappal) Collesar whom he wed on April 29, 1961.
James was a graduate of Clymer High School. He then enlisted in the United States Navy and served honorably from 1951 – 1955 aboard the USS Wisconsin during the Korean War. Upon his discharge, he worked at Westinghouse in Blairsville for 35 years.
He enjoyed gardening, hunting, woodworking, playing solitaire and doing word searches. He also loved to read and watch westerns.
In addition to his wife, Nancy, James is survived by: son, Robert Collesar, Indiana and daughters, Cheryl Downs (Dave), Glasgow and Bonnie McMahan (Mark), Indiana. He is also survived by three granddaughters: Rachel, Courtney and Cleo and by his great grandson, Ethan.
James was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings: Bessie, Annette, Charles “Bud”, Louise “Jean”, Annabell and John “Jack”.
