The Homer-Center swim team split their match against Cambria Heights on Monday, with the girls falling 103-46 and the boys winning 90-36.
The Wildcat girls won five of 11 events. Maria Frazer swept the 100 and 200 freestyle, both in personal-best times. Morgan Nagy took first in the 200 IM and the 500 freestyle. Senior Natalia Thomas had a milestone moment, earning her first varsity win in the 100 butterfly.
The boys won eight of 11 events. Chase Shoup made his mark with his first varsity win in his first-ever 100-yard butterfly. Trevor Cameron piled up points with a win in the 200 IM and another victory in the 100 backstroke. Brady Frazer powered his way to first place in both the 200 freestyle and the 100 breaststroke, while Blake Lucas showed his distance dominance by winning the 500 freestyle for the second meet in a row.
For the relays, Cameron, Lucas, Frazer, and Nate Bilo swept both the 200 Medley Relay and the 400 Freestyle Relay.
Homer-Center returns to the pool Wednesday night for a dual meet with Marion Center.
