The Pitt Panthers hit another low yesterday in an 80-73 loss to Hofstra yesterday at the Petersen Events Center.
Brandin Cummings had a career-high 34 points in the losing effort. He was 10 of 15 from the floor and 5 of 8 from three-point range, and was perfect from the free throw line at 9 of 9. Barry Dunning, Jr. had 13 points but the rest of the team was held from double-digits.
The Panthers will now get ready for a game Saturday against Villanova.
