Steelers left tackle Broderick Jones has been placed on injured reserve and will miss at least four weeks of action with a neck injury, which he suffered last Sunday in the team’s loss at Chicago. He will miss today’s game against Buffalo, as well as next week at Baltimore, the following week at home against Miami, and at Detroit on December 21st. The earliest he could return is for the final two games of the regular season, December 28th at Cleveland and January 4th at home against Baltimore.
Former Pro Bowler Andrus Peat will start this afternoon against the Bills.
While Jones is out, cornerback Asante Samuel Jr. is in. The five-year veteran, formerly with the Chargers, has not played in the NFL since last year. He played only four games in 2024 and had spinal fusion surgery for a congenital condition in April.
