Indiana County’s first responders had a structure fire and a vehicle fire to deal with on Wednesday.
The structure fire was reported in Black Lick township on Route 217 North. Black Lick, Blairsville and Aultman fire fighters were initially called out at 3:58 PM with the Coral-Graceton and Coal Run/McIntyre fire departments and the RIT team sent out ten minutes later. Officials say that the fire started in the chimney and spread through the wall and to the patio roof, where crews were able to stop it. The fire also damaged one piece of furniture in the house.
The vehicle fire was reported at 10:45 last night on Route 22 in Burrell Township. Blairsville and Black Lick firefighters were once again sent out.
