A Punxsutawney couple is facing multiple charges after state police say they left two young children unattended in a vehicle for up to 30 minutes while they shopped at Walmart.
According to court documents, Tylar Paige Reesman, 26, and Travis Lee Reesman, 27, are accused of initially lying to troopers before later admitting they spent 20 to 30 minutes inside completing a shopping order. Police say the children were found without proper car seats and had been climbing in and out of the vehicle.
Both are charged with child endangerment and related offenses, with a preliminary hearing set for Dec. 18.
