A New Jersey teenager was charged by Indiana Borough Police with public drunkenness and carrying a fake ID for an incident last Saturday morning.
Officers were sent out at 2:02 AM for a report of an intoxicated man refusing to leave a convenience store in the 300 block of Philadelphia Street. Upon investigation, police discovered that the man, identified as 18-year-old Dean Joseph Marco II of Hainesport was under the influence of alcohol to the point that he was a danger to himself and others. He was also found to be under the age of 21 and was carrying two fake ID cards that claimed he was 21. He was taken into custody and released to a sober adult.
Citations of public intoxication, underage drinking and carrying a fake ID were filed through District Judge Tony Sottile’s office.
