A Clearfield County man was jailed after allegedly exchanging sexually explicit messages with what he believed were two 15-year-old girls, according to WJAC.
Police said 41-year-old Ryan Altmeyer engaged in an online conversation with members of the 814 Pred Hunters, who were posing as the teens, and repeatedly asked for revealing photos before arranging to meet. Investigators confronted Altmeyer last week, and he allegedly admitted he intended to “hang out” with the girls.
The alleged messages occurred prior to his Nov. 24, 2025 arrest, and he is being held in the Clearfield County Jail on attempted statutory sexual assault and corruption of minors charges, with bail set at $200,000.
