The It’s A Wonderful Life festival kicked off with one of the largest crowds and largest parades ever.
Over 80 units were in the parade that marched down Philadelphia Street, entertaining hundreds that lined the road. Hastee Kinter, one of the parade’s organizers, said that the participants are what make the parade a success year after year.
Activities continue throughout the next few Saturdays leading up to Christmas. Today’s events include visits with Santa at IRMC Park and a Radio Play version of “The Shop Around the Corner” at the Indiana Theater at 4:00 PM.
