The holiday season kicks off tonight in Indiana as the “It’s A Wonderful Life Festival” begins with activities throughout Downtown Indiana.
Festivities begin at 5:00 at IRMC Park and locations throughout the business district, including hay rides, face painting, ornament making, hot cocoa, cookies and marshmallow roasting. The Indiana Junior High Spirit Band will provide music at IRMC Park at 5:50 and the massive real Christmas tree will be lit at 6:30. That will be followed by a parade through downtown Indiana at 7:00 PM.
This year’s parade will feature two groups as co-grand marshals, the America 250PA Commission and IUP as the university celebrates its 150th anniversary this year.
