A teen has died after collapsing during basketball practice at Imani Christian Academy in Pittsburgh.
A school spokesperson says 14-year-old Jaiquawn Jay became unresponsive while taking a break during practice on Tuesday and was pronounced dead at a local hospital. The Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office has not determined a cause of death so far.
Administrators at Imani Christian Academy say they will share details on counseling services and plans for a memorial when they are finalized.
