A domestic dispute over the treatment of dogs escalated to violence involving a stun gun, leading to charges against a Brookville couple.
Eric Gordon Kraus, 66, and Billie Snell, 56, were both arrested and charged with Simple Assault, Harassment, and Disorderly Conduct following the incident on Tuesday morning. Police reports indicate Snell allegedly first used the stun gun on Kraus during the argument, and Kraus then allegedly took the weapon and used it on Snell multiple times.
Both were released on $10,000 unsecured bail from the Jefferson County Jail, with preliminary hearings scheduled for December 8.
