At their meeting Wednesday afternoon, the White Township Supervisors approved the preliminary budget for 2026.
The current spending plan details revenues at $9,534,704 and expenditures at $10,931,891. However, Township Manager Chris Anderson says they have some funds put away that will make up the difference.
The budget also entails two fee increases. The townships recycling pick-up fee will increase by two dollars per month for township residents, and the storm water maintenance fee will go up by one dollar. Anderson says that this is due to the recycling center not receiving enough money from the collection of materials, and the age of drainage pipes respectively.
The full budget is expected to come up for final approval at their next meeting on December 17th.
