Members of the Westmoreland County Board of Elections are planning to draw names to break more 200 ties in races that were on the ballot earlier this month.
Most of those positions are judges of elections and election inspector positions that had multiple candidates with one write-in vote. Races for auditor in Bell, Upper Burrell, and Saint Clair townships ended up tied as well, as did two council seats in Sutersville.
Names will be drawn from a jar to settle those races on Friday.
