More details are emerging about a deadly Saturday shooting in Derry Township.
State Police say they were called to a James Street home for a domestic matter — the fifth time they had been called to the residence in the last year. Saturday’s caller reported that her husband was in the basement firing a gun.
Twenty-eight-year-old suspect Ryan Huinker confronted officers on the front porch of the home, reportedly refused orders to surrender and was fatally shot in an exchange of gunfire.
