It looks like all is well with the Westmoreland County Juvenile Detention Center.
The facility passed an inspection by the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services earlier this month and a separate federal audit over the summer. No regulatory violations were noted by state officials and no complaints were reported by residents or staff.
The center was temporarily closed back in 2023 after multiple inspections turned up a series of violations.
