Coach Pat Narduzzi says the Pitt Panthers have quickly put Saturday’s loss to Notre Dame behind them and are focused on this Saturday night’s game at number fourteen Georgia Tech. The Panthers and the Yellow Jackets are two of the four one-loss teams left in the ACC, along with Virginia and SMU.
Narduzzi says Georgia Tech is a top offensive team.
Narduzzi says Pitt doesn’t feel any extra burden from the high stakes, with a chance to remain in contention for the automatic bid in the College Football Playoffs.
Georgia Tech is led by quarterback Haynes King, one of the front-runners for the Heisman. He’s averaging 330.2 yards per game in total offense, throwing for ten touchdowns and running for fourteen. Narduzzi says King is a handful.
Kickoff for Pitt/Georgia Tech on Saturday night is scheduled for 7 o’clock. We’re on the air on WCCS at 6.
