Indiana Fire Association, State Police and Citizen’s Ambulance were sent out to Martin Road yesterday as a car crashed into a building.

This happened around 11:15 AM. Fire officials said that an SUV went off the road and hit a garage, causing severe damage to both structure and vehicle. The driver, identified only as a juvenile, was taken to Indiana Regional Medical Center for treatment of injuries. The garage needed to be stabilized so crews could remove the vehicle.
Martin Road was closed for about 20 minutes, and crews were on the scene for about an hour.
