The state Department of Education last week released a batch of data for every school district in Pennsylvania, and each school within each district. It includes the 2025 Keystone Exam results, the PSSA English and Math results, and the Future Ready PA Index. Education Secretary Dr. Carrie Rowe says the test results shows “more students attending school regularly, graduating on time, and leaving school equipped with the skills to choose a good career and chart their own course in life.”
PSSA math proficiency increased statewide from 40.2 percent to 41.7 percent. However, English proficiency fell rather dramatically, from 53.9 percent to 49.9. Because Pennsylvania updated Science standards, assessment scores were waived and only participation rates were reported.
All of the scores, district-by-district and school-by-school, are available in a searchable database at the Department of Education website, which you can access by visiting this story on our website.
