A Northern Cambria man is scheduled to have three sentencing hearings today in Indiana County’s Court of Common Pleas.
Court Documents show 34-year-old Vernon Ward Hazlett III will go before Indiana County President Judge Thomas Bianco for three cases. In one case, he pleaded guilty to a charge of arson-intentionally destroying an unoccupied building, with a second charge of arson along with risking a catastrophe and criminal mischief were not prosecuted. Another case of Arson was reported earlier this year on May 2nd, and in that case he pleaded guilty to the same charge. The third case involving him involved a plea of guilty to a charge or propelling a missile into oncoming vehicles. Charges of possession of an instrument of crime, possession of drug paraphernalia, disorderly conduct and scattering rubbish were not prosecuted.
