Pitt coach Pat Narduzzi says his 22nd-ranked Panthers are ready for tomorrow’s matchup against number nine Notre Dame, and he doesn’t care whether it’s an offensive explosion or a defensive struggle…he just wants to beat the Fighting Irish for the first time in five tries.
Narduzzi says it’s been a solid week of practice for Pitt, and his guys are eager to take the field at Acrisure Stadium.
The coach says both teams will be desperate to win.
Narduzzi says Pitt star Desmond Reid is as healthy as he’s been all year and the All-American running back can be a difference-maker tomorrow. Reid has missed three games and parts of three others with an ankle injury. He did not play two weeks ago in Pitt’s last game, a win over Stanford.
Kickoff on Satuirday is at noon on WCCS.
