For the 84th time this year, Indiana County firefighters were sent out for a brush fire call.
The call was reported at 1:20 PM at a location on Phipps Road in Black Lick Township. Black Lick, Blairsville and Aultman fire departments were sent out at the time.
Indiana and Creekside firefighters were sent out to a vehicle accident at 4:18 PM on Route 110 in White Township. They would be joined by Citizen’s Ambulance and State Police. Indiana Fire officials said a side-by-side rolled over near Grove Chapel Road on some private property. One person was flown by LifeFlight to an area hospital for treatment. Two others were not hurt.
Other calls for service included utility lines down on Locust Street in Pine Township at 1:14 PM that brought the Pine Township and Nicktown fire departments out, and an EMS assist request for Blairsville and Black Lick fire departments at 3:24 PM at a location on Palmer Road in Burrell Township.
