Indiana Borough Police Officer Josh Yokitis has been recognized statewide for his work to keep impaired drivers off the road. On Thursday, November 13th, Yokitis received the DUI Top Gun Award from the Pennsylvania DUI Association, honoring his commitment to DUI detection and enforcement.
Yokitis is considered one of the department’s leaders in identifying and stopping impaired drivers, and this year’s recognition places him among a select group of officers from across Pennsylvania. It’s the second time he’s earned the Top Gun distinction—his first came in 2023.
The award was presented during the Pennsylvania DUI Association’s annual conference in Bethlehem. Yokitis attended the ceremony with his wife, Kacie, and Indiana Borough Police Sergeant Zach Stiffler.
