Former Arnold Police Chief Eric Doutt is reportedly in custody on drug charges.
WPXI-TV reports Doutt was arrested yesterday after charges were filed by the state Attorney General’s Office. He is being held at the Armstrong County Jail on a 250-thousand-dollar bond. No other details on the arrest have been made available so far.
Doutt retired from the Arnold Police Department on January 1st of 2024 after then-incoming Mayor Shannon Santucci said she planned to demote him to patrol officer, saying at the time he was not “community oriented.”
