State police have released details on two vehicle accidents that happened earlier this month.
The first occurred at 5 in the morning on November 2nd. Officials say that 31-year-old Eric Monatque of Medford was traveling west on US Highway 422 under the overpass with us highway 119 in White Township. He then struck a deer that entered the road from the north side of the road head on. Montaque was not injured.
The second happened on November 10th at 8:35 am along119 South in Burrell township, just south of Lloyd Street. Reports indicate that 63-year-old Roger Stahlman of Home was travelling South on 119 when he struck a concrete median nearly head on. He then crossed the southbound lanes, and struck the guiderail, where his vehicle stopped. Stahlman was taken to Indiana Regional Medical Center for treatment of injuries with unknown severity. Black lick fire department assisted on-scene.
