The deadline to apply for a grant from the Indiana County Endowment fund is coming this Saturday.
Applications are due by November 15th so that the endowment board can consider them at a meeting in December. The mission of the program is to help organizations that require assistance with new programs, products and approaches to meet cultural, ecological, social, educational, recreational and economic needs. It encourages programs that will enrich the community, encouraging both individuals and organizations to develop creative ideas and initiatives to aid the community, and encouraging the wide possible citizen involvement in advancing the social, economic and cultural development of Indiana County, PA.
The fund was established in 1990 as the Greater Indiana Endowment, with two early patrons being Jimmy Stewart and his wife Gloria.
Applications must be submitted through the Pittsburgh Foundation portal, and eligible non-profit organizations must create a username and password to complete the online form.
