The Penguins skated into New Jersey with six players on injured reserve and gave a good accounting of themselves, grabbing an important point in the Metro Division standings before falling in a shootout. Brian Metzer reports.
Prior to the game, forward Kevin Hayes was activated from injured reserve and forward Filip Hallander was placed on IR, with a blood clot in his leg that keep him out a minimum of three months.
Faceoff between the Penguins and the LA Kings this afternoon will be shortly after 2 PM at PPG Paints Arena.
