It was the 74th all-time regular season meeting between Sidney Crosby and Alex Ovechkin, the 99th time including the playoffs, and Crosby’s Penguins got the best of Ovie’s Capitals, although for the second game in a row, they blew a big lead.

Rookie forward Filip Hallander was placed on injured reserve before the game with an undisclosed injury. He’s listed as day to day. Joona Koppanen was recalled to take his place and skated on the fourth line last night.
