An investigation is underway after a student within the East Allegheny School District was hospitalized after eating a gummy at school.
The incident happened on Tuesday at Logan Elementary School, when multiple students ingested some type of unidentified edible gummies which had been brought to the school by another student. Officials say one of the students became ill and was taken to the hospital for treatment.
No further details have been released.
