The continued standoff over the state budget isn’t expected to impact Election Day in Pennsylvania.
Secretary of the Commonwealth Al Schmidt said his office has yet to see any “significant issues” during the voting period and expects that to continue today. According to Schmidt, over one-point-one-million mail-in ballots were requested across the state. The polls are open today from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
