Commissioners in Westmoreland County are approving a resolution condemning political violence.
The three county leaders unanimously approved the measure during their meeting yesterday. The resolution was drafted in response to an incident at the recent anti-Trump No Kings rally outside the Westmoreland County Courthouse where a woman was injured by a reported counter-protester.
The legislation approved by commissioners references that incident and the political assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk.
