MOBILE HOME IN SHELOCTA DESTROYED BY FIRE

A mobile home was destroyed by a fire last night in Armstrong Township.

Indiana, Iselin-West Lebanon and Elderton fire departments were called out to Hummingbird Drive near Cheese Run Road in Shelocta at 9:08 PM, along with the County RIT Team and Citizen’s Ambulance.  Indiana fire officials said the trailer was completely destroyed by the fire.  No word on the exact cause of the fire, but it is believed to be accidental.

Five people were displaced because of the fire.  They were not home at the time.  Crews were on the scene for about two hours to put out the fire.
