If you are driving in Homer City borough or Center Township tonight, be on the lookout for trick-or-treaters.
The two municipalities are holding trick-or-treating tonight starting at 5:45 with the annual Halloween parade through Homer City. The parade will start at in-town park and move towards the fire hall. The parade will disperse after that so kids can go door-to-door trick or treating until 8:00 tonight.
The change was due to the Homer-Center Football team hosing a playoff game tomorrow night at Memorial Field.
Pedestrians are asked to keep safety in mind as they walk about. That includes looking both ways before crossing the street, travelling in groups and only going to houses that have lights on. Drivers are asked to exercise some extra caution and drive slowly during trick or treating times.
