The Penguins are in Minnesota to take on the Wild tonight, and it’s an opponent against whom they’ve had some success. They are 14-5-1 in their last twenty games against the Wild dating back to 2014, and they’ve won five of their last six games in Minnesota.
The Penguins have points in seven straight games, but they’ve also suffered some setbacks…left wing Rickard Rakell is out six to eight weeks after hand surgery and defenseman Caleb Jones is out for at least eight weeks with a lower body injury.
