Indiana Borough Police are reiterating their targeted enforcement efforts on pedestrian safety.
The actions are in response to the tragic crash on October 20th involving an IndiGo bus that killed two pedestrians at 7th and Philadelphia Streets. Police said in an announcement on the department’s Facebook page that pedestrian and motorist safety and distracted driving will be targeted for the rest of the week, including the borough’s trick-or-treat from 6-8 Halloween night. Police in an announcement say they will use a specific approach of enforcement and education.
Police in turn are asking the public to do their part to help keep trick-or-treaters safe.
Just a reminder that the second episode of the “Safer Together” podcast with Renda Media and Indiana Borough Police will premiere today on Renda Digital TV on YouTube.
