State police say a 74-year-old Rush Township, Centre County man is charged with criminal homicide after allegedly admitting to fatally beating and strangling a woman during an argument over a missing nude photo.
Troopers say Alan Reed confessed to killing 57-year-old Dawn Reed at his Philipsburg home Saturday morning. Investigators say Reed told police the dispute turned violent when he accused the victim of hiding the photo, leading to the fatal assault.
Reed remains in the Centre County Prison without bail.
