An Indiana County man was honored by City and State Pennsylvania on their 2025 Fifty over 50 list.
Boilermakers Local 154 business agent Shawn Steffee was named to the publication’s recent list. He also serves as the president of the South-Central Building Trades and a spokesperson for the labor community and the economy. In 2018, he assumed his current role with the Boilermakers.
Steffee credits his childhood for inspiring his career path as his father and his uncles worked for the Homer City Generation Power Plant before he and his brothers followed in their footsteps.
Also on the list is IUP Alumnus Tim Abell, the current President and CEO of Firstrust Bank.
