State police are investigating after gunfire was reported near Slippery Rock University over the weekend.
Troopers responded to an apartment complex on Vineyard Circle around 2:30 Sunday morning. Authorities say someone started shooting after a fight broke out near a fire pit on the property.
No injuries were reported. Anyone who saw the shooter or has video of the incident is asked to contact PSP Butler.
